Precise testing of transmissions
including data tracking and user guidance!
Our customer, a leading manufacturer of transmissions, needed a solution for end-of-line testing that would enable high-precision analysis of the sound pressure level of transmissions. The aim is to ensure that only perfect (OK) transmissions leave the factory and faulty (NOK) transmissions are identified at an early stage. A decisive requirement was the derivation of an envelope curve from the test results, whereby bad transmissions were to be recognized as faulty on the basis of a defined dB(A) increase. This was realized with our autfactory test bench software.
The recorded test results were used to create an envelope curve that was shifted upwards by a specified offset. This enabled problematic transmissions to be reliably identified as NOK. A key feature is the ability to perform the defined test cycle in both directions of rotation, which extends the test depth.
The transmissions are lifted into the testing plant using a crane and attached there manually. Data traceability is guaranteed by a component scan (DMC code).

The motors are fixed to an exchangeable adapter plate so that new components can be easily attached in the event of an extension.
