AMIT – Automated Modular Inverter Testing for development and small series production

AMIT (Automated Modular Inverter Testing) is our inverter testing test bench solution specially designed for product development and small series production. Our test bench can be used as:

Development test bench
The perfect solution for long-term tests, stress tests and tests under environmental conditions. Furthermore, parameter tests can relieve the burden on the expensive and usually overbooked e-motor emulator test benches.

Relief test bench/backup
The AMIT serves as a reliable relief test bench and backup for automated EOL systems. In the event of bottlenecks or failures, the AMIT ensures a smooth testing process and helps to minimize production interruptions.

EOL test bench for pre-series & small series
Our AMIT can also be used as an efficient end-of-line test bench for pre-series and small series. It enables reliable delivery testing and helps to optimize quality control in series production.

How does the function test for an inverter work?

In order to be able to carry out function tests, the inverter is connected to a battery replica on the DC side and to the active or passive load on the AC side. During the function test, all built-in components of the produced inverter are tested for correct assembly and function. From passive discharge to calibration of the current sensors, test cases can be freely configured and parameterized using the autfactory test bench software. Thanks to our CUBES, a CE-compliant, safety-related enclosure without conventional protective fencing is guaranteed.
