Flexibility
Thanks to a large network of numerous sub-suppliers with their own production facilities, project-specific customization is possible even shortly before delivery.
Testing the inverter at the end of assembly.
At the request of a test system manufacturer, we were able to support them in the realization of an inverter end-of-line (EOL) testing station. In this project, the functional test cabinets were supplied by AUTFORCE. These contain the intelligence and control of the test sequences as well as the electronic measuring components.
At the end of assembly, the inverter is tested for functionality. This involves carrying out an insulation test, loading the power section and testing the communication interfaces. AUTFORCE develops and designs customised functional test chambers for this purpose. We support our customers in the project initiation phase and can react flexibly to changes during the project.
As part of the project, we worked with our customer to design a test cabinet that meets the requirements of a well-known OEM. We opted for a compact test cabinet for this, as the available space in production is precious. The test concept in this project involved loading the inverter with an inductor.
For tests with a so-called passive load, simple chokes are connected to the inverter. The focus here is on the correct functioning of the power module. Testing using a passive load is less expensive than an active load and is therefore an interesting alternative.
At AUTFORCE, we specialise in testing systems and industrial software. Get in touch with us. Together we will find the best solution for your project!
