The comprehensive article highlights the various challenges and technologies along the entire testing process, from individual components to complete vehicle integration. We were delighted to contribute to this article and share our expertise in the field of e-motor testing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Holistic testing strategies for modern drives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The article clearly shows that electric drives, despite their mechanical simplicity compared to combustion engines, require a variety of test methods. Topics such as insulation tests, rotor balancing, thermal loads, noise behavior and EMC are just as much a focus as system tests on test benches under realistic conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increasing importance of hardware-in-the-loop simulation, AI-supported analysis and condition monitoring will also be discussed. In the article we report on, among other things: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"sflist-round wp-block-list\">\n<li>our testing of PSM, ASM or FSM motors at component and system level,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the integration of external measurement technology and simulation tools,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the use of climate chambers, image-based thermal analysis and EMC measures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and via our <em>autfactory <\/em>automation software, which enables real-time testing with a communication cycle of less than 10 ms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A special feature is the modularity of our test benches and software solutions, which can be adapted to specific requirements.
